“Aids is not a disease from the past century.”

DAve SChweitzer show portraits with seropositive blood.

On December 1st, World Aids Day, artist DAve SChweitzer is showing abstract portraits of seropositive donors, painted with their own blood. He wants to talk in a different way about aids and HIV, to attract the interest of the public concerning the subject.
“With my exhibition, I want to show the public that aids and HIV still exist,” says the artist. “And it affects all kinds of people: young, old, gay, heterosexual, men and women, from all layers of the population.”
