The exhibition is a small part of a show previously held in South-Korea, at the beginning of 2017. “Making this series has helped me to get through a difficult part of my life,” explains the artist. He describes his works as “internal portraits”, an abstract way of representing the reality not visible to the naked eye. Like a sponge, he absorbs the essence of the people he meets, the places he visits and the events surrounding him. The works of DAve SChweitzer come in many forms and cover different disciplines. He has work in private and public collections in a.o. Belgium, France, The Netherlands, The United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, The U.S.A. Russia, South-Korea and Japan.
