HIV blood as paint

Artist wants attention for the stigma on people with AIDS.

DAve SChweitzer uses the blood of HIV positive donors as paint to protest against the taboo that is still surrounding HIV and AIDS.
To show his solidarity and to ask the question “Can you tell the difference when you look at it?”, SChweitzer also made a painting with his own, negative, blood. The message is: do not stigmatize people with HIV and aids. Don’t treat them differently. We are all humans.
